The assault caused the temporary shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the T3 car park.

Two more people are now in custody in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which 21 people sustained injuries by what is thought to be an irritant spray, as stated by police.

A man, 24, was arrested in the Lambeth area on suspicion of theft and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

The arrests come after a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was one of the injured in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and were later released.

Officers arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of theft and assault near the location. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Police were called at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of a number of people injured by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.

The assault - an event that authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
